Type of visa: For foreigners who looking for a long-term visa to live in Thailand. We can convert from Tourist visa 60 days, Visa on Arrival 30 days/60 days, Visa Exemption 30 days/60 days to ED-visa. Visa issued at Chiang Mai immigration.

 

Course: Self-Defense course. Flexible online and onsite classes, learn 2 hours per day, 2 days per week. Applicants must be 12 years old or older.

 

Process: Take 51 working days

  • Applicants register for the self-defense course by submitting the required documents and make a payment. The applicant’s documents are then sent to the Ministry of Education for approval, which takes 30 days.
  • After receiving documents back from the Ministry of Education, the applicant needs to convert their visa at Chiang Mai immigration, which takes 2 days.
  • Visa approval will take up to 21 working days. The applicant will receive a 12-month ED visa, but must extend their visa every 3 months at Chiang Mai immigration.

Policy immigration about education visa for private school: You can stay in Thailand one year but every 90 days you must go to immigration for extension.

Policy of company: Every year you must go outside Thailand and come back by flight only.
