Type of visa: Intended for foreigners looking for a long-term visa to live in Thailand.

 

Course: Self-Defense course. Flexible online and onsite classes, learn 2 hours per day, 2 days per week. Applicants must be 12 years old or older.

 

Process: Take 30 working days

  • Applicants register for the Self-Defense course by providing the required information. The applicant’s documents are then sent to the Ministry of Education for approval, which takes 30 days.
  • After receiving the documents back from the Ministry of Education, we will send the documents to you.
  • Upon receiving the documents, the applicant must check what documents are required with the Thai embassy and how much is the visa fee (currently costs around 2,000 baht but please check with the Thai Embassy as this may vary in different countries)
  • The applicant must submit their documents and pay the visa fee to E-visa website of Thai embassy, wait for approval, and travel to Thailand.
  • When the applicant arrives in Thailand, they must contact us and send pictures of the ED visa stamp so we can start the process.

Policy immigration about education visa for private school: You can stay in Thailand one year but every 90 days you must go to immigration for extension.

 

Required Information for Applying at the Thai Embassy:

  • Scan or photo of your passport (Main page).
  • Headshot photo or half-body photo.
  • Police Clearance.
  • Transfer 52,300 baht for registration
